Who can take these PADI Rebreather Courses?
You can! These are NOT tec diving courses; they are recreational rebreather diving courses, meaning anyone meeting the minimum prerequisites below can enroll. There are two PADI recreational rebreather courses.

The first is the PADI Rebreather Diver Certification, which has a maximum depth not to exceed 60 feet. Individual dives have differing minimum and maximum depths.

The PADI Rebreather Diver Course Prerequisites are as follows:
  • PADI Open Water Diver
  • PADI Enriched Air Diver or qualifying certifications from another training organization.
  • 25 logged dives
  • 18 years old
How many rebreather training dives are required for this certification?
The minimum number of rebreather dives for this course is: 1 confined water, 1 confined or open water & 4 open water dives (6 total).

PADI Rebreather Course Price: $695 tuition, plus course materials.
Class materials needed include: manual, skills DVD, Enriched Air fills, Sofnolime & equipment.

How long is the PADI Rebreather Course?
Our PADI Hollis Explorer Rebreather Course includes three days of training. Training is conducted by our own highly experienced Rebreather Instructors, Rob Kohl and/or Thomas Burns.

The next certification is the PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver Course, which has a maximum depth not to exceed 100 feet. Individual dives have differing minimum and maximum depths.

PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver Course Prerequisites:
  • PADI Open Water Diver
  • PADI Rebreather Diver or qualifying certifications from another training organization; certified for Type R rebreather used in the course.
  • 30 logged dives
  • 18 years old
  • Prior to certification: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
How many rebreather training dives are required for this certification?
The minimum number of rebreather dives for this course is: 1 confined water, 4 open water (5 total)

PADI Advanced Rebreather Course Price: $495 tuition, plus course materials.
Class materials needed include: manual, skills DVD, Enriched Air fills, Sofnolime & equipment.

How long is the PADI Rebreather Course?
Our PADI Hollis Explorer Advanced Rebreather Course includes three days of training. Training is conducted by our own highly experienced Rebreather Instructors, Rob Kohl and/or Thomas Burns.

The Integrated PADI Rebreather and Advanced Rebreather Diver Course is preferred and includes both certifications.

The Integrated PADI Rebreather & Advanced Rebreather Diver Course Prerequisites:
  • Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
  • Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization
  • 30 logged dives
  • 18 years old
How many rebreather training dives are required for this certification?
The minimum number of rebreather dives for this course is: 1 confined water, 7 open water (8 total)

The Integrated PADI Rebreather & Advanced Rebreather Course Price: $995 tuition, plus course materials.
Class materials needed include: manual, skills DVD, Enriched Air fills, Sofnolime & equipment.

How long is the Integrated PADI Rebreather & Advanced Rebreather Course?
The minimum dive time for the integrated course is 320 minutes. This time includes confined water/pool dive time. Our PADI Hollis Explorer Advanced Rebreather Course includes five days of training. Training is conducted by our own highly experienced PADI Rebreather Instructors, Rob Kohl and/or Thomas Burns.

Hollis Explorer Rebreather Rentals are available for $175 per day of diving. Rebreather rental fee includes: 1 Sofnolime fill & 1 Enriched Air fill per day.

Now offering 6-Months Same as Cash on your Equipment purchase upon credit approval. Interest is deferred during the 6-month promotional period.

Training takes place in Mandeville, Louisiana near New Orleans or in Pensacola, Florida. We offer a free airport pickup and drop-off service at either location. Lodging options with full accommodations are available upon request and availability.

Rebreather training dives on the USS Oriskany can be arranged for a nominal upcharge depending on the number of desired Oriskany dives.
