Q. If I purchase scuba gear from you, will I get the Manufacturer Warranty?
A. Yes, Seal Sports is an Authorized Dealer for all the scuba diving equipment that we sell. This means that you will receive the Manufacturers Warranty provided that you register the product with the manufacturer, which we assist you with.

Q. Why should I choose Seal Sports?

A. At Seal Sports, we employ the areas finest scuba diving professionals to ensure you receive the highest quality training and service. We offer plenty to do once scuba certified, including instructor escorted diving vacations, weekend dive getaways and dive club meetings. Our professional diving staff includes two full-time service technicians, and a combined dive industry experience that exceeds 50 years of safety!

Q. Which scuba equipment brands do you service?
A. We service each of the manufactures diving equipment that we sell. The list of manufacturers’ logos listed on our website will provide you with the specific dive gear manufacturers.

Q. How long will it take to get something that I’ve ordered from you?
A. All in stock orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours from when you submit the order. The shipping time is dependent upon the shipping option you’ve chosen.

Q. Do you teach scuba lessons?
A. Yes, Seal Sports is a PADI 5-Star Dive Center that has been certifying people to dive for over 17-years now.

Q. What scuba equipment do I need to get started?
A. For the PADI Open Water Diver course, scuba equipment needed and not provided are the following: mask, snorkel, fins, booties & a weight system. A Seal Sports representative will be happy to assist you.

Q. Is there a minimum age requirement for scuba lessons?
A. Yes, the minimum age to get a scuba certification is 10 years old. For children 8-years and older Seal Sports offers pool experiences such as the Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team.

Q. Are there medical requirements prior to starting scuba lessons?
A. Everyone is asked to complete a Divers Medical Questionnaire regarding your past and current health condition. A positive response does not necessarily disqualify you from scuba diving. A positive response means that there is a preexisting condition that may affect your safety while scuba diving and you must seek the advice of your physician prior to engaging in dive activities. Contact Seal Sports for a copy of the Divers Medical Questionnaire.

Q. What’s involved with learning to Scuba Dive?
A. There are three main steps involved with getting scuba certified.

Step1: Home Study Portion
Start today by purchasing the PADI Open Water Crew-Pak. This package includes the dive manual, Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), instruction booklet and a student file folder that will be provided. The assigned homework is to read the dive manual , watch the DVD and complete the five knowledge reviews in the book. This is necessary before attending your first night of scuba class. Complete this on your own time using your preferred learning style and at your own pace!

Step 2: Scuba Classroom & Pool Sessions
Enroll in a scuba course date that fits your schedule. Understanding the complexity of scheduling, we maintain one of the most flexible schedules in the area. This part of the scuba course will include knowledge development and pool diving activities. Rental scuba gear is provided during these pool sessions. Needed and not provided are the following: mask, snorkel, fins, booties & weight system. Participants receive 10% off these items!

Step 3: Dive Certification Weekend
Time to explore the underwater realm! Enroll in one of our scheduled dive trips to Florida to earn your scuba certification. This dive trip includes four exciting open water training scuba dives completed over one weekend. Price includes rental scuba gear. Needed and not provided are the following: u/w watch & logbook

Q. Do you have any scuba programs for children?
A. Yes, the PADI Bubblemaker and PADI Seal Team are two great scuba programs designed for childeren 8-years and older.
